The “International Technology Transfer Match-making Event”, sponsored by Suzhou Productivity Promotion Center (SZPPC) and China-Europe Technology Transfer Co. Ltd., Suzhou, was held successfully at the Innovation Plaza in the city of Suzhou on July 11^th. 

As an important part of activities during the Suzhou International Entrepreneurship Week, the event had eight experts from Singapore, Sweden and Romania invited. They carried out a roadshow of presentations on more than sixty cooperative science and technological projects in the fields of new materials, medical equipment and smart equipment in the match-making event. More than 100 representatives from local companies, technology transfer institutions, incubators, maker spaces, venture capital institutions and other agencies of science and technology service also attended it. 

Cai Jianfeng, deputy director of Suzhou Bureau of Science and Technology, spoke at the event. Experts and representatives present witnessed the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement on building a business incubator in Suzhou between China-Europe Technology Transfer Co. Ltd., Suzhou and Singapore-China Association for the Promotion of Science and Technology. 

In the roadshow, the experts made detailed presentations of their respective projects. The representatives held a heated discussion about the outcome of some relevant technology, its application and market prospects. Projects that attracted a lot of attention included the technology of graphene battery in the graphene industry chain and its industrialization, smart city and others. At the end of the roadshow presentation, the representatives conducted a face-to-face communication with these experts and discussed how they could cooperate. Some companies had secured an oral agreement on cooperation on some projects with some experts. The match-making event, as a bridge, provided channels for local companies to secure match-making cooperation with the well-known experts globally and helped some world-class technologies and their outcomes land partners in Suzhou, which, in turn, would improve innovative capabilities of local companies and promote technological innovation and upgrading of Suzhou.
